When is the summit?

The opening plenary will start at 9 am on Monday 26th September. The closing plenary will end at 1 pm on Wednesday 28th September.

Where is the summit?

The WWGS is a multi-site event at five adjacent venues in Bloomsbury, London. Woburn House and the British Medical Association (BMA) are both on Tavistock Square, LIDC and Birkbeck College on Gordon Square, and Friends Meeting House 150 yards away (opposite Euston Station).

Who can attend?

Anyone can attend. Please register here.

I would like to present at the event, where do I submit my proposal?

Sorry, but the submission deadline has passed and the programme is now full. We do hope you will still attend. Register here.

How much does it cost to attend?

The fee for the summit only is US$360 (approx. £275). The fee for the workshops only is US$250 (approx £175). The fee for both is US$560 (approx £425). Organizations registering multiple participants are eligible for a discount of 5% for five people or more and 10% for ten or more. Can I just attend the pre-summit workshops?

Yes. You will be given that choice on the payment page during registration.

How can I pay for my registration?

The easiest way to pay is on line by credit or debit card or by e-check, during registration. If you need to pay by back transfer please contact wwgs@campbellcollaboration.org. You are not registered until we have received your payment.

Can I pay my registration fee at the summit venue on the day?

No. You must pay online to complete registration.

I am presenting at the event. Do I still have to pay the fee to attend?

Yes. It is standard practice that presenters in parallel sessions pay the fee to attend the event.

Do I need to be registered for the summit to attend the WWGS Evening Public Lectures?

No. The evening public lectures are open to everyone.

When does registration close?

Registration will remain open until we reach the event capacity of 1,000 people. Register now to be sure of your spot. Register here.

Are there discounts for students, NGO or developing country participants?

There are no discounts available for these, except organizations that register multiple participants are eligible for a discount of 5% for five people or more and 10% for ten or more. We have kept registration fees as low as possible by using reasonably priced venues and doing the conference organization ourselves.

Is there a reduced fee for just attending one day?

Yes, day rates are available. Please see https://www.wwgs2016.org/event-information/ for details.

What is your cancellation policy?

80% refund on cancellations made before the end of June

50% refund on cancellations made before the end of July

No refund on cancellations made after August 1st, unless required for reasons of a documented personal or family emergency (in which case a 80% refund will be made).

Can I get a bursary?

No. The deadline for bursary applications for WWGS was June 22nd, 2016.

Is there a summit hotel?

There is no summit hotel. We are recommending the Imperial Hotels chain, which has a number of reasonably priced hotels all of which are within walking distance of the venue. Other low cost options are the Euston Travelodge and Euston Premier Inn. Euston Hilton is a higher priced option very close to the venues.

Where is the summit registration desk?

Are the venues accessible for people with disabilities?

All meeting rooms are accessible via ramps and lifts.

Is there simultaneous translation?

No. All sessions are in English.

Are child care facilities available?

No, but some hotels in London have babysitting and child care services available.
